BEAST Releases ‘TCOMG/Say No’ MV as ‘Fans’ Love Rises’

비스트가 두 번째 미니 앨범 수록곡 \’내 여자친구를 부탁해\’(Say No)의 뮤직비디오를 깜짝 공개했다.
팬들을 위한 특별 선물로 기획된 이번 뮤직비디오는 비스트 양요섭, 장현승, 손동운이 자신들의 개인 마이크로블로그를 통해 직접 공개하는 파격적인 시도로 발표됐다.
이는 음악프로 1위를 비롯해 가요계에 강렬한 충격을 선사한 ‘Shock’(쇼크) 활동을 마무리하고 후속곡으로 새롭게 변신하기에 앞서, 앨범 전곡에 뜨거운 성원을 보낸 고마운 팬들에게 보답하고 싶은 비스트의 마음이었다.
소속사 관계자에 따르면 비스트는 팬들과 약속한 자정 공개를 지키기 위해 라디오 방송을 마친 뒤 주변 스태프들의 도움 없이 스스로 영상을 등록, 오픈하면서 조금이라도 팬들에게 가까이 다가가려고 노력했다.
기획사와 서비스 업체가 아닌 멤버가 직접 예고 후 뮤직비디오를 공개했다는 것에 대한 반응은 열렬했다. 처음부터 깜짝 선물로 준비된 것이기에 뮤직비디오의 공개 사실이 예정된 시간에 임박해서야 알려졌지만, 예상 외로 순식간에 몰려 든 방문자수에 비스트의 인기와 팬들의 충만한 기대를 실감케 했다.
공개되자마자 팬들은 양요섭, 장현승, 손동운의 요즘(yozm)에 동시 접속해 실시간으로 업로드 되는 멘트 하나하나에 폭발적 환호를 보냈고, 멤버들은 이에 화답하며 새로운 소통의 장을 열었다.
특히 뮤직비디오를 처음 올린 양요섭의 포스팅에는 “정말 팬들을 소중하게 생각한다는 게 느껴진다”, “변환 때문에 약속한 자정 시간 못 지켰다고 아쉬워하는 게 감동적이다”는 반응이었다.
비스트는 \’내 여자친구를 부탁해\’(Say No) 스페셜 뮤직비디오를 통해 팬들과 교감한 뒤, 조만간 후속곡을 정식으로 공개한다.

BEAST’s second mini album’s follow-up song ‘Take Care of My Girlfriend’ (Say No)’s music video has been released.
As a special present for their fans, this mmusic video was released through BEAST’s Yang Yoseob, Jang Hyunseung, and Son Dongwoon’s personal microblogs (yozm).
After winning 1st on a music program, they delivered a strong shock through their prmotions for ‘Shock’ as they bring to a close and prepare for their new change in their follow-up song. In receiving warm support from their fans, BEAST wanted to return the favor to the thankful fans .
In the words of their representative from their company, BEAST made a promise to their fans in personally releasing it as they uploaded the video by themselves without the help of staff once they finished their radio appearance as this was one way in making the effort to becoming closer with their fans.
Without the company or the services used, the response from the public was feverous in the members releasing the music videos themselves. First starting off as a surprise present, the music video would have only been known in the time of its release but due to fans rushing and the count of visitors for the music video, it proved BEAST’s popularity and fulfilled beyond what was expected.
Upon its release, fans went wild each time members Yang Yoseob, Jang Hyunseung, and Son Dongwoon mentioned on their yozm. In replying to their fans, this opened a new gateway of communication.
Especially for Yang Yoseob who was the first to upload the music video, said, “I feel the importance of the fans” and “It was touching to hear that they were saddened when we weren’t able to keep our promise in releasing it at midnight.”
Once BEAST has given the fans their special video of ‘Take Care of My Girlfriend’ (Say No), they will soon release their follow-up song officially.
